FAAN celebrates Xmas with Orphanage

Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) yesterday donated welfare materials to the Little Saints Orphanage, Akowonjo, Lagos as part of its Christmas celebration.

The team led by the  Director of Maintenance and Engineering, Ogunode Femi who represented the Managing Director, Mr. George Uriesi had in its philantrophic nature paid the visit to the home located in the airport vicinity, to celebrate with the children, as well as donating gift items that are essential to the needs of the hospice.

Some of the gift items which includes: food stuff, toiletries, air conditioner and refrigerator was timely because of its essential nature.

While delivering the items, the representative of the M.D., Mr.Femi 
explained to the Administrator of the Home, Mrs Bose Ogunbanjo  that FAAN has committed itself to be a partner and will continue to contribute to the welfare of the children. He prayed that FAAN will be able to double its effort in coming years.

FAAN has in its philantrophic nature partnered with the home in the past to accommodate the needs of the hospice, the authority has also contributed to the cause of humanity to several other non-governmental organisation, especially the less privileged members of the society.

The authority has also committed itself towards maintaining its corporate social responsibilities, especially towards its host local communities nationwide. This strategy has created a cordial win-win situation with local community helping towards ensuring security of airports perimeters.
